Hey there! Welcome

Hey there!
Welcome welcome!
We two days without binging or purging that is amazing! That's already man hours under your belt that you wouldn't have experienced only a few days ago. So congrats.
In my experience recovery hasn't been a smooth upward improvement. And we're all the same. There'll be challenging times, times of doubt. But overall always keep in mind that you ARE progressing. Truly. And as you go along, look back at the progress you make. Any small win, celebrate it. Things will get better and better, and for sure it will be the most amazing thing that could ever happen to you.
In terms of practical tools, a few things
1. Follow structure eating - don't worry about type and food quantities. Say with safe options if that works better for you.
2. Rest and pamper yourself and find all the ways possible to treat and love yourself
3. Find a buddy/ help others
Still many more things one can do -Happy to chat more!

Take care

The same thing happened with

The same thing happened with me when I fried structured eating. It was awful, and I had terrible gas and bloating and I had terrible sour stomach burps. Sorry for the detail, but maybe it's helpful to know your are not alone. From everything I have read this is normal and can last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. Don't give up like I did. Sadly when I tried to do structured eating this past summer, I gained a lot if weight in just 2 weeks of SE, and I panicked and quit. Two months later and I have made NO progress whatsoever, still b/p daily. BUT!!!! I am going back to the doctor next week, as my dietician and therapist, too and u am going to try again. Yes, I am worried and scared, but I have to try----staying where I am at is certainly not an option. Hang in there----- it has to get better!! :)

I tried probiotics to help

I tried probiotics to help with the digestion and bloating. I used them once a day for a few days and it stopped. Maybe it would have stopped on its own but the probiotics helped. If you don't want to take a pill for this then try some yogurt with the probiotics in it. And use the kind with sugar as the artificial sugar gives you gas and bloat as well, making the problem worse. In any case for me it went away in about a week.

Sick since 1976
