Anyone from west Yorkshire or bedfordshire

I am looking for a motivated support buddy so we can help each other get through this crap!!!!

It's good to meet and fight this together - walking, doing exercises together x

2x motivation is better than 1

Well, I'm from W.Yorks

Well, I'm from W.Yorks originally. I grew up in Leeds (Alwoodley) and left when I was 18/19 to go to Uni in Edinburgh. These days I live in London but have not totally forgotten my northern roots and spend much of my time correcting my kids' pronunciation of words like bAth and grAss (barth and grarse, according to them).

Wanna buddy up? I've been in recovery for a couple of years now and I'm just emerging from a 2 week relapse, preceeded by a period of calorie restriction/dieting.

Hi Ems- It's nice to meet

Hi Ems-

It's nice to meet you! I'm busy teaching you northerners to speak properly!! I'm originally from Bedfordshire, but got a job up here. I also have to teach you about breakfast, lunch and dinner as opposed to breakfast, tea and dinner.

I have had a problem with BED for 5 years. I went to uni. I am now a solicitor, but this is taking over my life. I have put on 4 stone and I am trying Weight Watchers, but feel it is perpetuating the problem.

I have had a 2wk binge- excssive, so need to stop. Need help. x x x

What about you

Ha ha. That is very funny.

Ha ha. That is very funny. My kids and I definitely have TEA together in the evening and they have no idea what their dad is talking about when he refers to it as supper (he's a posh public school boy.)

So, shall we buddy up then? I'll msg you and give you my email address. For me, I would love someone to make my food accountable to and to have as an available support - especially during these first days as I move away from the sugar, which is always physically very painful for me. I have been struggling for days to get out of relapse and part of the problem, I think, is that I am trying to do it on my own... as well as being so firmly wedded to restricting and being skinny for my birthday in a month's time.
