Bloating and swelling feet/hands... :(

Hi,
I am 3 weeks into recovery and haven't purged but have binged 3 times during this period. This week I have had swelling of my feet and sometimes hands, what is this? Is it because I have had binges or am not purging? I'm so uncomfortable, it feels horrible and my stomach is so bloated too. Is this part of bloating, when does it go away? Any advice would be really appreciated, feeling really yuck and fat!!

I am also binging and not purging. It sucks- I am swollen and bloated too. Think it's all the sodium in the foods I have eaten. I'm embarSsed to be seen like this!

Thanks for your comments. I

Thanks for your comments. I have been looking into it a bit more over the last few days particularly after your comment regarding sodium Allison and my sodium intake has been quite a bit higher than normal with the additional snacks being mostly protein bars (as part of my structured eating) and eating high sodium foods when I binged. So for today and yesterday I cut as much sodicum out as I could and the symptoms appear to be reducing slightly. Fingers crossed its that easy!
