Food Porn?

Does anyone else do this.....

Google food images?
Or browse online supermarket isles?
I love to make 'dream' lists of binge foods, calculate prices, etc. I also used to have a scrapbook where I would gather ALOT of food packaging that I had and stuck them together showing the calorie content of various brands, product sizes, etc.

It's my food porn

sigh.lol. 'Man vs. Food'

and 'Diners,Drive-In's,and Dives'. I think the Onion or CurrentTV coined it "Food Network: Porn for Fat People!". I confess I'm hooked. Addictive...I go into a trance. Same w/cooking blogs and vids....total waste of time since I don't cook. Thanx for sharing this. Nice to know it's not just my own weird ED habit! I don't think I could make a dream binge list like yours though...crap,one craving is bad enough, let alone a list...I wouldn't be able to function. Makes ya wonder what else we're all doing when alone with our disorders?

Look Don't Touch

When I used to have no appetite or hunger about a year ago I found watching the Food Network helped to not eat. The more I watched it the less I felt the need for it. I mean this as a tool to prevent binges but as we all know, it's mental. So you have to just tell yourself NO IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Sort of like when your parents say you couldn't go to that party. Forget it. But if you keep reminding yourself how much you want to, then you'll just crave the food more and more.
