Giving Blood!!

Hi All
I was watching a show on tv this evening and it just hit me that in a reasonable amount of time, say 6 months to 12 months and I should be able to do what I have always wanted to do.....Give Blood! this may sound weird, but I have always wanted to be able to do this and i am O negative and that just makes me want to give blood more.
Anyway I have fainted when I have had to give a substantial amount for blood tests and when I tried to give blood I didn't really get started, I felt myself get so light headed that they had to stop and then tilt the chair because I am too dehydrated etc blah blah

So if I keep going with this recovery and am still doing ok in 12 months (less than 11 month away - not too keen hey?) then I should be well enough.

that is if it is just not the big ugly needle that is making me feel so light headed ;p

Cool! You have something

Cool! You have something special to work towards. What a great goal! Giving blood is giving the gift of life to others. That's really cool! It's true what they say, giving can be so much better than receiving. Kindness and love towards others is really kindness and love towards yourself. :-)

Love alone is worth the fight. - Jon Foreman
