Hello everyone. I hope people are finding some positivity today, even if it's only fleeting, it's good to hold on to those moments.
I thought I'd start a thread to help us reflect on the good things in life. So many of us have depression, negative thoughts and poor self image and it's hard to rise above it and find meaning in our lives.
One tool I've found pretty useful is keeping a Gratitude Journal. I have one from a shop called Kikki K, which prompts you to write three things every day for which you are grateful. I used it to help me see the good things I have in my life and allowing gratitude to spur me on to a more positive outlook.
So, maybe we can start a gratitude thread! Just list 3 things which you are grateful for today. If you can't think of 3, just 1 or 2, just to get some positivity going.
Today I am grateful for:
1. Having a roof over my head
2. My wonderful, one in a million boyfriend, who's there for me no matter what the day brings
3. My two cats, who give me unconditional love, regardless of how I feel about myself
