new and Sick of the struggle!!

Hello everyone.. Just joined the site. I'm looking forward to hopefully becoming recovered after what seems like an endless struggle in my world.. I am a personal trainer at a gym believe it or not. NO ONE not even my family or closest friend , knows about my struggle. It's been about 4 years now since I've struggled. Only this year is the worst, and I have totally noticed the side effects. I am totally insecure, overly self conscious, socially awkward (although I try my best to hide that) and I'm just totally not the carefree confident chick I once was. I know all of you can relate ! Please feel free to friend me, message me, Whatever! I'm just looking to share this recovery process with all of you and helping Eachother a long the way:)

Its a strange world isn't it?

Its a strange world isn't it? It is more common than most realise. Those who appear on the outside to be happy, fit and healthy are actually indeed dying on the inside. You often hear of health conscious foodies, sporty types, nutritionists and doctors who suffer from ED's. Very few people know of my Bulimia but to around 99,9% of people they see me a 'healthy' eater a fit, exercise gym bunny and a health freak. If only they knew the daily inside torment...

I can totally relate o what your going through. Do you think your career choice has had any impact of your Bulimia? Either way you are in the right place :)

Yes! People think I'm in such

Yes! People think I'm in such good shape health and nutrition wise but I'm so not lol only on the outside... Yes I think my job has probably contributed to the fact I need to look the part of a trainer , there fore when I would binge I HAD to purge because of the weight gain fear. The world truly is a crazy place but I'm glad I found a place where I can chat with others in the same boat as I am.:)
