I recently found out I have osteoporosis. I'm only 25, so needless to say I am pretty upset and scared. I didn't think I was at risk because I don't think I that thin, and I thought I was eating enough calcium, plus I do yoga in such a way that I thought it counted as resistance training. I'm scarred an want it to improve. I've fortunately never broken a bone. I love being active and would hate for my poor bone health to hold me back now or in the future.
Anyone have experience with this? What did you do to restore your bone health? I have to see an endocrinologist but I really do not want to take any hormones. Any thoughts are welcomed!
