To all the recovered bulimics who are DONE with the bulimia, yet still have to suffer with chronic gerd,

let us help 1 another share what each one of you is doing about the GERD?

GERD in recovered bulimics is because the Lower esophagus muscle responsible to keep either both food/acids down is ruined due to purging, which weakens the muscle. if the muscle is tooo weak, food goes back up; if the muscle is somewhat weak, acids escape back up. dietary changes, anti-acid herbs, and sometimes surgery are required.

some said NIssen fundoplication surgery

others said Herbs and dietary changes

others said anti-acids or PPIS and dietary changes

i'd like to know which worked best and why....please dear friends.....
