There's two support groups I'm looking at (CAMH, Sheena's Place) and either a CBT/DBT group or mindfulness group I'm considering doing. I'm a 24 year old student, bulimic (previously anorexic but weight restored) and I have BPD. I'm finding it extremely difficult to a) commit to therapy and b) motivate myself to develop my skills outside of sessions/treatment. I'm also feeling incredibly isolated lately due to a situation that occurred recently and has resulted in a massive argument and the loss of several friends, that situation alone is not making my attempts to reduce engaging in behaviours any easier.
So if anyone around my age is living in Toronto and can relate to anything I said or thinks they could benefit from checking out some groups or learning some mindfulness (or just wants to make a local friend that GETS it), then add me through here, inbox me and let's get together ASAP (:
